Box, Toothpicks

I frequently utilize toothpicks to apply adhesives or mix epoxy effectively. However, I grew tired of the flimsy box that comes with the toothpicks. This new container allows for storage and features curved front and back corners, making it easy to remove the toothpicks. The hinge provides a smooth action, so I decided to use dowel pins instead. These pins are widely available almost anywhere and come in various diameters and lengths. For instance, 1/8" diameter x 3/8" long is a common size, but you can also find them in aluminum, stainless steel, brass, or other materials. If you don't have access to dowel pins, you can always print your own using a 3D printer. To install the dowel pins, you'll need a small arbor press, bench vise, or even a hammer will do the trick.
