The box measures 104 x 64 x 36 mm or 4.1" x 2.5" x 1.4". On the front, a slit is cut where a 16x2 LCD display fits snugly. Built using the rc1602b-ghw-csx LCD display, this unit can be seen at http://www.tme.eu/en/details/rc1602b-c/lcd-alphanumeric-displays/raystar-optronics/rc1602b-ghw-csx/. The slit measures 72 x 26 mm or 2.8" x 1.0", accommodating most 16x2 LCD displays, such as the DigiKey model http://www.digikey.nl/product-detail/en/newhaven-display-intl/NHD-0216BZ-FL-YBW/NHD-0216BZ-FL-YBW-ND/1701195. On top of the box, four buttons can be placed, which can also be printed. Inside, space is available for four micro push buttons on a standard PCB, held in place with five screws through holes. The last STL file contains the cover, with an additional hole for an external wire. The box was utilized to create a simple alarm clock using an Atmel AVR micro-cpu. However, it can be employed for any electronics requiring information display and basic button usage.
