Box Shelf Clever Attached to Wire Rope
thingiverse
I created this box shelf to store all my tinkering stuff.\nhttps://youtu.be/WbqlUxAku0U\nhttps://youtu.be/DfYb214mytE\nThe first video is a short version of the second one, with German explanations to this project.\nEach box on this shelf is dedicated to a specific project or stores general tinker materials. The idea behind it is to have multiple boxes next to each other, all containing related content.\nWhile designing this shelf, my goal was to create a unique example of using belt friction to hold an item on a wire rope.\nThe provided *.stl files fit perfectly with a box that's 10.8cm deep, but you can also design your own side parts to fit your specific box size.\nYou'll need the following materials for this project:\n3D printer filament\n3D printer\nWire rope (Ø2mm)\nWood stick (Ø6mm)\nWood stick (Ø8mm)\nScrews and dowels\nCardboard box\nBasic tools\nPrint Settings\n Notes: \nIf you use an extrusion width of 0.3mm with three perimeter settings, you'll get a part with 100% infill because the wall thickness is exactly 1.8mm.
