Box of Blocks Puzzle

This is a packing puzzle known as the Slothouber-Graatsma puzzle. you can read more about it here.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slothouber%E2%80%93Graatsma_puzzle This puzzle can be deceptively difficult the first few times you attempt it. I originally created the blocks with a face to face thickness of 30mm because that is a standard thickness of stone counter tops. I had hoped to have some scrap counter top material cut to make the blocks but did the plastic version to check the models. Print Settings Printer Brand: PrintrBot Printer: Printrbot Simple Metal Rafts: Yes Supports: No Infill: 20% Notes: You need to print the block set 3 times to get all 9 blocks. If you print this full sized you may need to be careful with your settings so as to cope with whatever shrinkage you experience. Printing directly on a heated bed might be best but I don't know for sure since I lack a heated bed. Category: Puzzles
