Box mounts
thingiverse
I build a custom enclosure for my 3D printer using these mounts. The 3D printer itself is secured on a sturdy 25mm thick board, with a maximum plate thickness of just 4mm. If the plate thickness dips below 4mm, I use keil.stl to create a small wedge that reinforces it. For extra stability, I also employ klammer.stl - a clever clamp for the top plate that not only keeps it firmly in place but also creates a precise gap for the filament. The box.stel.stl mount secures the feet of the enclosure, while box1.stl and box2.stl serve as mounts for the top plate. To ensure rock-solid stability, I recommend screwing all the mounts directly to the board and the top plate. When it's time to access my printer, I can simply pull up the front plexiglas (a handle griff.stl can be screwed on for added convenience). Print Settings Printer: Prusa i3
