Box MKS Base 1.4 + mosfet + relay + TFT28 + WiFi + smoothers
thingiverse
Caution!! I created the TFT 32 version on demand, but I never printed or tested it because I don't have this screen. The SD and USB openings may not be accurate, please, if someone accepts the risk of printing it let me know in the comments the result, if it's not ok I'd prefer to delete the file, thanks for the help. _______________________________________________________________________ As the title says, this is a box to bring all the electronic parts of the printer together in one place. In the upper cover, there's a 60 x 60 x 15 mm fan and the MKS HLKWiFi module. In the front panel, it mounts a MKS TFT28 and there's still space left free to drill and install some switches (leds or other) in the future. In the base, it mounts a MKS Base 1.4, a mosfet, and a relay. There is also room for three smoothers but maybe these make no difference to the drivers mounted in my MKS Base. The relay is used to turn on the LEDs mounted on my printer (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2925918), I think I will use some free pins (those of servos) to control it, perhaps using the TFT (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3ngUwd2YKE) or touch sensors mounted on the left of the screen, I still have to decide. I used 3 mm screws of those used usually in PC cases with nuts for almost everything, for the relay instead I used smaller screws that are seen in photos. I cut and shortened the flat cable that connects the screen to the base to avoid encumbrance, it's not a necessary thing but I liked more order. For the back, I printed with 8 outlines (perimeter) and 0 solid layers higher and lower as to create a grill (see photo) _______________________________________________________________________ Update May 29th, 2018 I added another file "Base" with room for a second mosfet to be mounted in a mirror, means the type of mosfet I use, other models may not be there. I added another "cover" file with an accommodation for the MKS PWC module. I don't have these pieces, I've never printed them, I've taken measurements from the internet, I hope they're fine.
