Proteus Box Making Parts Build a box and I've got everything else for you, minus the hinges. The best part is that corner pieces look great and snap together with ease. You need to make sure the boxes you build or buy are the same size. If you're unsure, check out YouTube or Google for excellent schematics and tips on making multiple boxes of the exact same size. Don't worry if you don't have advanced wood cutting skills. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Ideas, changes, and more are encouraged by the community. Rope handles are designed for that sizing in rope diameter. Magnets: Two Neodymium 20mm x 5mm round magnets are needed for the latch. You can find these on Ebay, Aliexpress, Amazon, or other online marketplaces at a low price. Parts & Printing Stacking Corners: There's only one style of top/bottom corner pieces. The squared notches help lock the boxes from sliding when stacked. Plain Corners: These are listed with "PLAIN" in their title. Use these on boxes that won't be linking together. They're just standard corner pieces. Latch: Two options - Latch Base with M5 (3/16-inch) bolts or with Glue/Epoxy. You'll need two 20mm x 5mm neodymium magnets (cylinder). One magnet goes into the latch and the other into the top part of the latch base. Use the plastic cover plate to fill the gap and protect the magnets from smashing. Rope Handles: This is easy! You need two M5 bolts/nuts (3/16 inch) to secure the rope struts to your boxes. The rope should also be 5mm (3/16 inch) in diameter. Thread the rope through each strut and tie the ends - use a lighter or heat gun to melt the knots to make them permanent. Top Guide Plate: These are to be glued to the inside of your boxes at the top. You should only need these if your box doesn't close perfectly straight. They'll help your box close and stay straight - especially if you don't use any latches like a rebel. Foot: There are two sizes, both designed for an M5 (5mm) bolt. The hex inset will make it easy to tighten the bolts by hand. Label Plaque: Two options - Single Piece Plaque or Two Piece Paper Insert Plaque. If you want to use the paper insert version, print both parts and glue the top onto the base. Then there's a slot in the top to insert your paper. Box Edge Cover: These are for the middle edges of your box, not to be used as corner pieces. There are two types with an end that chamfers into the corner pieces and a straight edge. The straight edge pieces have two lengths, 35mm and 70mm. Each has a ridge with a slight chamfer - watch out for double and single chamfer ridges to match aesthetics.
