When I attempted to fit the Raspberry Pi – 3 Amp Direct Wire Power Adapter, the original design was a bit too tight for my taste, so I utilized the included step file to make a couple minor adjustments to the size and clearances. The result is still a pretty snug fit but easier to insert the board. While working on it, I also made some additional changes as a learning experience in Fusion 360. I adjusted the clearance for the power input and USB ports to be slightly closer together. I have included three versions: one with "wings" on either side, one without any wings at all, and a version where both sides feature the wing design. Additionally, I removed some material from the base and cover just for practice. I'd love to hear your thoughts or if you decide to print it. In keeping with the original creator's spirit, I've included a step file and a Fusion 360 file for your use.
