I utilized various components to construct my DIY telemetry system for my bicycle. The side pieces were made from plastic, precision-cut using a CNC machine. The carbon parts, on the other hand, are 2mm thick carbon fiber, also CNC cut. Inside the enclosure is a Meduino Mega2560 R3 microcontroller, and I installed a 1.8-inch screen for display purposes.
