I built a simple enclosure to hold the LM2596S 3A DC to DC step down converter, though I never got around to using it yet. Initially, its purpose was to take the 12vdc from the Mosfet and reduce it to 5vdc as power for the LJ18A3-8-Z/BX 8mm Approach Sensor Inductive Proximity. Fortunately, a mini-360 buck converter proved sufficient for the task, rendering my LM2596S unnecessary. I also created a custom box for this latter component using the design found on thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2491675). The print settings were 45mms speed, 30% infill, and temperatures of 200deg extruder and 60deg hot bed, all with PLA 1.75mm filament.
