Update 2023-04-02: Meanwhile I had to realize that the boxes are colliding with the retaining hooks in the cabinets when trying to slide the drawers in. Therefore I reduced the height of the boxes by 3 mm, down to 32 mm. Now everything should be fine. ++++++ I love the 37-drawers hardware storage cabinets from Kuepper, available for example at Hornbach hardware stores, as they offer great value for money and will hold all my hardware and electronic components. Although the drawers already have vertical slots for dividers, I sometimes require even smaller compartments in order to separate very small parts like nuts, washers or SMD components. I therefore designed these easily removable boxes, of which 6 will fit in one drawer. Features of my design: - inner size 38,6 x 29,8 mm - 32 mm total height - wall thickness 1,2 mm in order to match most common 0,4 mm nozzle - fillets and chamfers for perfect match with the inside of the drawer - vertical slots on both sides to avoid collision with the guide slots present in the drawers - clearance on the bottom to match the round bump in the drawers - slanted plate for labelling, also acting as a handle - proper support for the labelling plate, so no additional supports are required for printing (approx. 10 mm bridging distance to achieve). Prints well with any standard PLA.
