Boxes to store batteries, designed for AA and AAA cells in various sizes. A hinged lid provides easy access, while staggered height rows keep items organized. A recessed label on top allows for clear identification. New code has been written from scratch, offering complete customization. The OpenSCAD source is included, along with STL files for different battery capacities: 96, 54, and 24 AA batteries 104, 54, and 24 AAA batteries To assemble the box, use a piece of 1.75mm filament and mushroom it at each end using a soldering iron as hinge pins. Inspect the OpenSCAD file to discover how to generate an empty box with this code. Read the comments above the "configs" array for more information. A new OpenSCAD file has been added, battery-box-2019-05.scad, compatible with OpenSCAD version 2019.05 or later. This update takes advantage of native support for is_string() and is_list().
