I'm using this whenever I need a small, precise hollow box or tray with specific dimensions and wall thickness. For instance, this happened to me not long ago: "It's time for dinner, and I hear a blood-curdling shriek coming from the kitchen. It turns out my wife spilled uncooked pasta everywhere and blamed me because I supposedly put the box away backwards." If you're married, you probably understand why I turned to my 3D printer as an instant solution: print a customized box end, and problem solved - no more pasta spills at dinner time and I won't worry about putting the pasta box away backwards ever again. Set end thickness to 0 for a hollow beam or rectangular tube with no base, perfect for specific needs. Print without supports, and 0.2 mm layers work really well for great results.
