I recently designed an alternative version of a fast and easy 3D printable box cutter knife, available for viewing at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3775612. This design features a knife-like handle and secures the blade in place with a screw that can be positioned anywhere on the device. Unlike other designs, this one operates more like a conventional cutter, where the blade is loaded from behind the holder. To move the blade, simply turn the knob halfway, slide it into position, and then return the knob to its original spot to lock the blade in place. The screw used in this design was inspired by the script found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:193647.
