Box Cutter Blade Holder
thingiverse
This is a body designed for use with utility blades or box cutter blades. It's printed in two halves and requires screws or bolts to hold it together. Wall thickness is 1mm, with infill at 15-25%. The result feels solid, and I don't think increasing the infill will make a dramatic difference. VERSION A: Screw holes have a diameter of 5mm. The entire body measures 14.3mm wide. Find a bolt that's roughly this length and use it with a small nut. To print the body, place the outside faces down. VERSION B: 18 FEB 2019 Newly modeled bolts are provided to secure the sides together. One side is threaded, while the other allows the bolt to pass through and thread into the first for maximum hold. Print two bolts with their heads facing down; no support is needed. To print the body, place its outside faces down. This type of blade is common, but I'm unsure about size variations. Below are some useful dimensions for a Wembley Tools knife blade: WT-KN0002: Blade height: 18.05mm Blade side slope length: 21.84mm Blade top edge length: 10.12mm (check the image) Gap spacing: 3.8mm
