box clasp
thingiverse
I designed this clasp to securely close a wooden box, allowing you to fine-tune the force required to shut the box by adjusting the screw. To assemble the mechanism, I employed M6 screws as axles, bonding them in place with a robust adhesive. The clasp is firmly attached to the box using 3mm wood screws. To create this project, you'll need one of each component listed. The clasp was printed in durable PLA, which has proven strong enough to withstand the weight of my 10kg wooden box.
