A box with lid. Laser-cut project, designed for 3mm in MDF. See "Box #1 instructions.pdf" on how to assemble. Update (August 2019) - small boxes removed (will be added separately later). Renamed to "Box #1"; - new instructions; - all laser-cut files are now in dxf R12 ASCII format: - you have three files, they only differ in their kerf compensation: - 0 : no kerf compensation; - 015: all notches are compensated 0.15mm; - 020: same thing, 0.20mm. Kerf is the amount of material that disappears by the cutting process. To avoid using glue and ensure a correct assembly, this kerf is compensated in the vector file itself. To cut and assemble the model, use the 015kerf file, or the 020kerf if your laser has a wider cut. If you want to make significant modifications to the file, it may be advisable to use the 0kerf file. Enjoy!
