Bowl with conical base and receding rim
sketchfab
Researchers uncover a type 2 vessel from the El Argar culture's typology, excavated in Spain's southeast region by the Siret brothers. Hand-shaped bowls with conical bases, often found together with type 8 vessels in funerary contexts, make up this ceramic type. The dark, polished, metallic surface is a defining characteristic of this style, exemplified here by a vessel featuring a brownish black hue. Dating back to the Argaric culture period (2300 BC - 1600 BC), PG.41.1.086 stands out in the museum's online catalog Carmentis.
