The Siret brothers uncovered a type 1 bowl from the El Argar culture's typology during an excavation in southeastern Spain. Hand-shaped recipients with conical bases were typically found in funerary settings. Characterized by its dark, polished metallic surface, this type of ceramic is a notable feature of the Argaric culture, dating back to around 2300 BC and lasting until 1600 BC.
