The pump on my Spec V moves a lot of water, even on low setting. This outflow nozzle mod allows me to run the pump at full capacity (better filtration, more water cycling) without turning my tiny 5gal aquarium into a whirlpool. This part will create a gentle current, the net flow is directed down and out to make sure there's no stagnant area in the aquarium, but still be gentle for the tank occupants (plant and animal). I have four versions and uploaded all of them: My final version in use in my aquariumThe same basic shape with a slightly smaller openingA long tube version (sits lower in the water)A long tube version that is angled out, to rotate higher or create a different flowAll four are ‘optimized’ for FDM printing so they'll stick to the bed and work without support. I used 4 perimeters as it made the printing go a bit faster than adding infill. I got all of these to stick onto the outflow elbow without problems, but if you have issues with attaching to the outflow elbow here's my advice:too tight: use an xacto knife to shave the tube's inner surface and make a small chamfertoo loose: scale the print down by 1-3%
