Bowl

Early bowls have been discovered in China, Ancient Greece, Crete, and some Native American cultures. In 2009, the art project series "Ghosts in the Form of Gifts" was created for Massey University Wellington, New Zealand. The series won the 2010 Award for Open Source in the Arts (NZ). This collection features replicas of imagined lost or misplaced artifacts from the Museum of New Zealand's previous location on Buckle St, now occupied by Massey University's College of Creative Arts. The objects were created through drawing, digital 3D rendering, and RepRap printing. Their digital files are available for educational use under a Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike license. Browse the "Ghosts in the Form of Gifts" tag for other series items, and credit goes to Bronwyn Holloway-Smith and Vik Olliver.
