This is a replica of a central channel speaker, specifically a model based on the Bowers and Wilkins HTM1 D3 in Rosenut finish. It was created with the aid of 3ds Max 2008 and V-ray 2.0, with a focus on realism as it's built to real-world scale. The units used for this project are millimeters, adhering to industry standard practices with a Gamma setting of 2.2. V-Ray materials and textures were utilized extensively in the development of this model, while lights and cameras, along with scene setup, were not included within the file. Apart from 3ds Max files, the exported base mesh was provided in a smooth format. All preview images for this model were rendered using 3DS Max combined with V-Ray. This speaker model comprises twenty-six separate objects. Polygons found within the model consist of 26139 quads and 302 tris; interestingly, no ngons can be seen anywhere. Without TurboSmooth engaged, a total count of 26441 polygons exist in this speaker model. However, when set to two iterations with TurboSmooth enabled, it grows significantly to an astonishing 207712 polygons.
