This is a 3D model of a floor-standing speaker, specifically the Bowers and Wilkins CM 10 S2 in Rosenut finish. It was created using the 3ds Max 2008 software, combined with V-ray 2.0. The model was built to real-world scale, with units measured in millimeters and a Gamma value of 2.2. The V-ray materials and textures included are a critical part of this model. Lights and cameras, however, as well as the scene setup, were not included in the file. As for file formats, only 3ds Max was used, but it can also be exported into various other formats, including base mesh and smoothed forms. The base mesh is smooth without the TurboSmooth option on, resulting in 34 separate objects. Breaking down the polygons further, this model contains 24926 quads and 1821 tris, with no ngons present. When TurboSmooth is applied (at a level of 2 iterations), it results in 26747 polygons total. However, when turned back on and smoothed twice, the model jumps up to an impressive 122776 polygons. The number of textures in this model totals ten. Their resolutions range from a moderate 2000x2000 down to smaller values like 2048x2048, but there are also three high-resolution textures at 3628x4200 and another two textures each measured at 4000x4000, all contributing to the final look of this detailed speaker model.
