This results in the filament dragging and jerking, making an awful noise. Using this clamp and retainer ring, you can utilize some standard Bowden tube to direct the filament from the spool through the table to the extruder. This completely eliminates the noise and makes the filament feed much smoother. You will need to use supports both outside and inside the tube to print properly, utilizing approximately 20% infill.
