Sized gap to fit a Swiss army knife blade (1mm width), plus tolerances. Added threads to position the fitting, and increased length to cut a length of tube 40mm from the top of the hotend to where the tube meets the nozzle. Simply thread the fitting into the cutter tool, insert a bit of scrap filament for stability, cut, and the tube will be the right length to go into the hotend. Increased thickness of fragile parts for improved strength (I had printed the original design, which worked great, but it broke).
