UPDATE 18/12/2015 Clamps Secure Rods and Enhance Print Quality I've added clamps to threaded rods that attach the frame's front and back. With six secure clamps, the printer is significantly more rigid and less prone to vibrations at high speeds. I'm currently using this Bowden setup on my Prusa i3 printer with an E3D lite 6 hotend. The system works seamlessly. I've included .ipt files from Inventor for those who want to edit or modify parts. My Bowden carriage is designed with three holes that fit together perfectly with the electron 3d (migbot) x carriage. It also includes a fan nozzle and vent for a 50mm fan, as well as an auto bed leveling sensor. I've increased the exhaust hole on my fan duct using a knife. All parts can be printed without supports. The teeth serve as temporary support structures that should be removed after printing is complete. A Bowden extruder frame holder allows mounting of the extruder to the frame using existing holes, designed specifically for airtripper's extruder model. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: I printed all parts with 100% infill.
