Bowden or brake hydraulic hose guide for bikes
thingiverse
After installing a Supernova light system on my 2016 Haibike Hardnine, I encountered a problem: one of the Bowden cables or brake hydraulic hoses kept hanging in the headlight's cone of light and fluttering during rides, which was extremely annoying under front light conditions. To resolve this issue, I created a Bowden guide that keeps these cables in check without affecting steering mobility. This solution might inspire others to find their own custom-fit cable management system. Since different bikes have varying cable routing configurations, users must adapt the design for their specific needs (I provided two versions with modified guides for the right brake handle). These guides are suitable for 4mm Bowden cables and 5mm hydraulic lines on both left and right brake handles. For reference, see the pictures of this part installed on my bike. To install, simply clip the cables into place, using pliers if necessary for support. The guides hold securely without requiring additional fastening.
