Bowden Insert to Direct Drive Converter / push-fit connection adapter
thingiverse
I've got several E3D clones that are Bowden cast, and I've swapped some out for direct drive setups. One issue I ran into was filament coiling up in open space. To fix this, I created adapters for both 1.75mm and 3.0mm filament diameters. These adapters allow you to switch back to a flat head screwdriver if needed. Printer Settings: * Printer: DIY Print-Rite * Rafts: No rafts were used. * Supports: None were employed. * Resolution: The print resolution was set at .2mm. * Infill: A 5% infill density was chosen. * Notes: Be aware that some prints may require minor sanding to smooth out the tip edges.
