Bowden filamentguide Geeetech i3 aluminium
thingiverse
I rebuild my Geeetech i3 pro for a bowden setup, requiring a new filament guide. After testing several guides on Thingiverse, I found that they all had too much resistance when the filament reversed 180 degrees. I created this guide to work with my previous filament roller design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3430176 The hole in the filament guide is designed for a 4mm PTFE Tube, providing a tight fit to keep it secure. Depending on your printer model, you may need to cut or drill the holder to accommodate the tube. Mounting the filament roller to the Z tower eliminates vibrations in the Z axis tower during extrusion. I've since updated and improved this design with a clip-on attachment for the frame https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4239105
