This is a custom bowden extruder designed to securely capture the push-fit connector.\nThe extruder will perfectly fit the NEMA 17 stepper profile.\nThe filament path has been made modular, allowing others to easily modify it in the future.\nHARDWARE REQUIRED:\nA Nema 17 stepper motor\nAn idler bearing with a diameter of 625zz\nTwo 16mm M3 bolts for mounting the male piece to the stepper\nOne 18mm M3 bolt for mounting the male piece to the stepper, serving as the idler fulcrum\nA long M3 bolt, spring, and several washers for the idler\nADJUSTMENTS CONTINUE AS THE PROTOTYPE IS DEVELOPED v1 - Initial design on 9/17/2016 v2 - Filament path removed on 9/26/2016 to accommodate flexible filaments only Public Fusion 360 project link: http://a360.co/2deVcFK Print Settings Notes: Be sure the model doesn't warp during printing, as this can prevent a smooth fit of its components.
