I'm fed up using a screwdriver with my Bowden setups every time I need to change filament on multicolor prints, which can be a real hassle. This problem is easily solved since the screw only needs to be tightened slightly. This solution works perfectly with any Bowden setup that uses an M3 screw for tension. I'm currently using SHLOTZZ's extruder mount and it works like a charm. To get started, you'll need 18mm M3 screws and nuts, just like in the photo. The key is to achieve a tight fit, so heat up the screw first, then place it in with tweezers without pushing it in too far. Leave the M3 nut flush with the bottom or sticking out slightly. To find the perfect spot, you can mark one notch for reference, just like in the last photo. That's it - enjoy your hassle-free filament changes!
