I needed somewhere to mount the extruder after a bowden conversion, but one corner has the spoolholder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2141857), the other has some switches (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2843169), and most of the other possible locations supported by existing mounts seemed less than ideal. I then found this dovetail bracket and figured it could ultimately support multiple extruders and other add-ons. I took one of the test objects and merged it with a stepper-motor spacer to create an extruder mount. Add an M3x10 screw and nut to use as a setscrew to lock it in place, then bolt on your extruder bits on one side and your stepper motor on the other.
