I needed a solid anchor point for my extruder after switching to a bowden conversion, but one corner was already occupied by a spoolholder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2141857), while another held some crucial switches (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2843169). Most other potential locations offered by existing mounts just weren't ideal. That's when I stumbled upon this clever dovetail bracket, which had the potential to support not only multiple extruders but also various add-ons. I took one of my test objects and merged it with a stepper-motor spacer to create a versatile extruder mount. A quick addition of an M3x10 screw and nut transformed it into a secure setscrew, holding everything firmly in place. Now I could bolt on my extruder components on one side and my trusty stepper motor on the other.
