Bowden extruder capacitive sensor mount
thingiverse
This is designed for use with the e3d v6/lite6 mount found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1632847. I've modified the scad file from this source: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1639085 to accommodate an 18mm capacitive sensor, and adjusted its position by approximately 10mm for compatibility with a circular fan duct, specifically thing:2177911. To enhance durability, I've enlarged the sensor mount and widened the shaft supporting it. Credit goes to mekatrol, who published an edited mount earlier but without scad files, and Tech2C, creator of the original design. 03/21/2017 Update: The file has been revised and additional 3.5mm space was added for clearance with the circular fan duct, as previously there was a 1-2mm gap. 04/09/2017 Update: A similar version with a 12mm hole has been uploaded but not tested. Printer Settings: Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: Rafts were used due to the printer's inability to properly level the bed at 110C, however printing without a raft might be feasible. Infill of 20% is recommended; I initially used 50% for added security.
