A Compact Extruder Upgrade for Your 3DR Delta Printer This updated extruder design is optimized for use with 1.75mm filament and features two versions tailored for steppers measuring either 40 or 48mm in length. Assembly Instructions To assemble the compact extruder, you will need to print three additional components: an idler, small gears, and large gears. These parts can be sourced from online repositories. In addition to these printed components, several other parts are required for assembly. Specifically, a MK8-style hobbed bolt is needed, as well as one 608ZZ bearing and two 625ZZ bearings. Two springs and two M3 screws measuring 40mm in length will also be necessary, along with two M3 bolts. For the motor mounting, two M3 screws measuring 8mm in length are required, accompanied by two nuts. Finally, to complete the assembly, a 60-ish mm long M5 rod is needed, as well as M4 bolts for securing the extruder to your printer's 20x20mm extrusions.
