Bowden E3D V6 Mount For Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro B

This design is specifically designed for fitting an E3D v6 hot end to a Geetech Prusa i3 Pro B, although it can likely be adapted to other models if necessary. It's a simplified remix of my earlier design that focused mainly on users with direct mount extruders rather than Bowden setups. This new design is significantly easier to work with compared to the original, and I decided to remix it instead of adding options to the existing project. It's intended to attach to the rework X carriage, which is particularly useful for Geetech users who can use the Geetech customisation of the X Carriage found in one of my other projects: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1585254 Using the Geetech cutout version of the X-Carriage combined with this mount allows for the reuse of the original X axis linear bearings. Even with the addition of a bed levelling sensor, this mount, paired with the modified x carriage, maximises available X axis movement. The OpenSCAD source file is highly customisable, making it easy to create your own variations. I've included STL files for almost every possible variation, though! The position of the hot end nozzle on the mount is crucial for optimal performance on the Geetech i3, ensuring maximum Y axis travel. If the nozzle is too far from the X axis, you lose travel at one end; if it's too close, you lose travel at the other end. The mount is designed to be optimal for the Geetech Prusa i3 (Acrylic 8mm frame), but this distance can be adjusted in the OpenSCAD source file to match your specific printer. In addition to printing this design, you'll need: 2 x M3x15 bolts and nuts for the hot end clamp 2 x M3 x 30 bolts for the extruder mount 4 x M4 x 20 Bolts and nuts to secure the mount to the X carriage I use a capacitance level sensor (6-36v, 1-10mm) as it works well with glass beds. I've also included an STL file for a cooling fan duct that attaches to a bracket on the hot end clamp. This duct takes the original Geetech 40mm fan from the extruder and isn't the most optimised design but seems to work fairly well. The OpenSCAD file is currently a bit of a mess, but I'll post it when I get time to clean it up. I printed this as positioned in the STL file without any supports, ironically using a cooling fan will improve print quality of the duct so you might end up printing this twice, using the first print to cool the second.
