Bowden Clip - BCN3D Sigma
thingiverse
Here's how I fixed those pesky bowden clips that kept slipping out and causing my prints to fail. First, I added a side ring that sits over top of the allen head bolt to prevent any movement or slippage. It was getting frustrating watching them move around and sometimes even come off entirely. To make matters worse, when they did slip out, the bowden tube itself would pop out and my print would fail altogether. Luckily, this simple fix worked like a charm. Now, I can focus on creating without worrying about those clips giving me grief. I also tweaked the design to increase the thickness of the section that holds up the bowden tube clamps. They were a bit loose before, but now they're good as new. For those who are curious, my custom fan shrouds and mounting holes are all the same as the stock metal ones, so don't worry about that. Now, I'm not perfect, and there's still room for improvement. When I export my STLs, you can spot a faint '4' in ThingView. Don't worry; it's just a minor glitch - when you go to print, it's gone. I'll get around to fixing that soon enough.
