Bowden Clamp (K.I.S.S. method)

Bowden Clamp (K.I.S.S. method)

thingiverse

Using the K.I.S.S. method for Ultimaker's Bowden Clamp issue, follow these instructions. Cut a thin aluminum plate or scrap wood piece, shaped to fit over the heater module's corner. Drill holes: one for the thumb screw and another to securely hold the Bowden tube. Assemble the parts so that tightening the thumb screw pushes the tube against the original hole in the wooden plate on top of the heater module. Retain the circlip arrangement for added security. Dimensions cannot be supplied without disassembling, but imagine a right-angle triangle with the holes acting as a lever to secure the tube.
