Bowden Clamp for Rostock Hotend
thingiverse
To improve the original Rostock Bowden hotend mount, I replaced it with a derivative from an Ultimaker bowden assembly. The modified design removes the M8 nut, which often came loose. It works well with a 4mm tube; however, the insert/collet could be tighter. To resolve this, I simply added tape at the bottom of the tube. Print the base in ABS for heat resistance and fill at .20-.25mm layers. For the cap, I used PLA on my Rostock for aesthetic reasons. This design is inspired by Thingiverse items 11864 and 27840.
