Bowden Clamp
thingiverse
Lately I've been dealing with erratic prints due to a loose bowden tube that was working its way free from the press fitting. After some thorough research and debugging, it became clear that my solution had to be quick and easy to implement without requiring extensive work or modifications. I observed that many clamp designs necessitate replacing the entire extruder bottom plate, which seemed like an overkill to me. That's when I discovered a simpler approach - clamping both fittings together to keep everything securely in place. I found that by applying a snug fit to both regular bowden fitting and standard PTFE tubing, any issues with the tube being too loose could be resolved by scaling up to 101-102%. To achieve this, I added two M4 bolts and suitable nuts, then screwed them tight. This effectively eliminated the "jerking" movement from the tube. This solution works equally well for both hotend and extruder applications.
