Bowden Cable Servo Control for Robotics

Bowden Cable Servo Control for Robotics

This is an enclosure designed specifically for standard size servos to manage cables in animatronics and robotics projects. I'm utilizing a 4mm PTFE tube, commonly used in bowden setups on 3D printers, paired with a brake cable from bicycles, securely attached to the servo wheel using a component sourced from an RC shop. To keep the lid firmly in place around the tube, an M3 machine screw, a washer, and an M3 nut are employed. Printing this enclosure "the right way up" with supports appears to yield the best results. Future improvements might include designing a wheel for the servo that can more effectively pull the wire around. This project marks my very first original design in Fusion 360, so any feedback is highly appreciated.
