The first version of this trainer setup was initiated using this model from GrabCad: https://grabcad.com/library/takedown-bow-grip-1. I plan to attempt building it from scratch later, but I acknowledge the originator's work and do not claim credit for it. To achieve optimal results, I recommend printing this design with 4 walls and 4 top and bottom layers. Based on my experience, ABS plastic has proven to be the best material for this project, followed closely by PET-G. While PLA worked as expected, I express concerns about its durability in hot environments such as cars. This trainer setup is specifically designed to accommodate 6mm OD rubber. I have successfully used both 4mm and 3mm ID rubber, but it's essential to tie a substantial knot to ensure stability. Please note that the rubber will eventually fail, so be cautious when handling this equipment and keep your eyes protected. I emphasize that you use this trainer setup at your own risk. Since I'm unaware of your printer's specifications or how you tied the knots, I can only share my own experience, which indicates that mine is strong enough to withstand normal usage. However, please exercise caution and be prepared for potential eye damage due to rubber failure. This design requires a larger printer, but I am willing to print one for you if needed. I will research shipping costs and other logistics to make it happen.
