Bow tie

Want a conversation starter for New Year's Eve? This 3D printed bow tie is just what you need! The one shown was created using PolyAlchemy Elixir filament, giving it a smooth, silky appearance. To assemble this stylish accessory, simply print the front and back pieces separately. Once they're ready, glue them together, then thread a strap through the clip on the back for a secure fit. For an extra comfortable experience, use an elastic strap to ensure a snug fit. For optimal comfort and a smooth finish, it's essential to print this bow tie as lightly as possible. That's why I included two holes in the back piece - to allow for a more relaxed wear. To achieve these excellent results, I printed mine with 10% line infill, 2 walls, and 3 top layers, all at a slow speed of 30 mm/s. As an added bonus, I've included a full bow tie model so you can slice it your way. However, I did consider printing it vertically, but that would have required slicing through the middle and leaving an unsightly line after assembly.
