bow stabilizer with hydraulic / sand damper

I loved the stabilizer that Modified_Gemini built (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2505865), as it's a great inexpensive solution to make several length stabilizers for different tournament rules etc.. I wanted to contribute to his design. Specifically, I wanted to add a counter weight / damper on the end that could be printed. The end piece can be filled with water / liquid if your print quality will hold up to it, otherwise you can fill with sand. In theory the hydraulic effects of the water and/or sand will help combat torque while also absorbing vibrations and shock. This stabilizer provides several parts to customize your own build. Not every part is necessary to print. All of the parts and partial parts used to construct this are provided in the stabilizer_parts.stl file attached which can be opened for modification / customization. Instructions below also provided by Modified_Gemini with tweaks. Parts needed - 3 x ultralight Arrow shafts 7.2 mm (any length you desire) 5/16"x24 Bolts (A couple of printable versions are provided one of which has a v cut to allow removal if it breaks) 1 x 5/16" Flat washer Print parts - 1 x End piece 1 x Hydraulic Stabilizer End 1 x Bolt cover (2 to choose from) 1 x Brace (or more, there are 2 to choose from) 1 x fill cap (there are two provided, one is tight and the other is a little looser) Assembly - Cut the arrows to identical and desired lengths and test fit in the end pieces. Slide the Braces over the arrow shafts and use a slower drying glue to ensure the pieces are aligned. Glue the brace. Slide in the 5/16" bolts, and glue the covers. The washer spacer is to allow the 5/8" flat washers to sit centered over the 5/16" bolt. Sand it down to slightly shorter than the length of the total washers. This allows the 5/15" flat washer to apply pressure on the 5/8" washers to hold them in place. Fill your end piece with your choice of sand / water or other substance for the amount you desire to achieve the effect and weight you desire. Glue the fill cap in place if using the loose cap or a liquid. If using the tight fitting cap, it can be tapped into position.
