I conceptualized a bow press from scratch without breaking the bank. Rather than splurging on a commercial unit, I decided to fabricate my own using a lathe, a Bridgeport milling machine, and a welder. Now, all that's left is to test out some materials on the forks to ensure everything holds up under pressure.
