I wanted to breathe new life into my trusty old bow's legs crafted from fiberglass but my lack of enthusiasm made me hesitate about laboring around a piece of wood to make it work. So, I opted to let technology do the heavy lifting by printing it with specific settings in Cura: infill: 40% wall thickness: 2mm bottom and top layers: 1mm layer height: 0.2mm material: black PLA (standard PLA) After the part was printed, I gave it a smooth finish by sanding it down before applying a fresh coat of paint. It's amazingly durable and passed the test with flying colors, not a single crack in sight! My bow is a powerhouse, capable of unleashing 46lbs of force.
