Bow collimator for violin or viola
thingiverse
In both models I've ever seen, they wore a velcro strap or a piece attached to the fingerboard with screws. My intention was to modify this model using only printed pieces. However, I couldn't achieve this goal but came close. A sheet of 1.5mm EVA glue was necessary in the Base to prevent damage to the instrument. Instructions: I made two lock sizes. Most beginners start with factory instruments that hardly maintain a standard wood thickness. It was really necessary to use both lock sizes. First, try using the larger model for assembly. If the base doesn't stay tight, switch to the smallest model. Do the same with the Base - start with the larger one. Follow the sequence of images to mount on your instrument. When attaching the Base with the Lock, don't use force. Simply slide the base gently until it snaps into recess.
