Thanksgiving is fast approaching for US citizens, which is one of my favorite holidays. The reason behind my excitement? Pie! Last year, I baked pies for my colleagues at MakerBot, but this time around, we are too large and awesome for just one man to cater to. Hence, I decided to share the recipe for my all-time favorite pie - bourbon pecan pie! While you can replace bourbon with water if you don't fancy its taste, most of the alcohol evaporates during baking. So, don't worry about getting tipsy from a slice! The recipe may be time-consuming, but it's worth the effort. Feel free to modify and share your creations publicly; I'd love to hear if anyone adds this pie to their Thanksgiving feast this year.
