Bounty Hunter Character Bust

This is my second major assignment for Second Year Game Art @ De Montfort University. The task was to craft a 'Bounty Hunter' character bust with an 18,000-triangle budget. My objective was to create a semi-realistic look by utilizing Zbrush for a more detailed mesh, then re-top in 3DS Max and texture in Substance Painter/Designer. Since our deadline isn't until the end of the year, I haven't rendered in UE4 just yet and have used Marmoset Toolbag instead. I thoroughly enjoyed this project - it presented a pretty steep learning curve for such a short period but I picked up many new techniques and had fun bringing my own bounty hunter concept to life! My inspiration was The Witcher 3, with a touch of stylization mixed in. I still plan to focus on environment art next year but this was a welcome change for now, and if I were to do the project again I'd definitely be better equipped for it.
