Bounty Buddy

Bounty Buddy

thingiverse

This is the debut Amazon Dash accessory on Thingiverse - marked as such in true accordance. The idea behind this project is to take a new batch of paper towel rolls, then insert the Bounty Buddy into one roll and mark it as the last one still available. When you reach the very last roll, hitting the button prompts a drone or a UPS driver - depending on where you're based and your era - to deliver fresh paper towels right away. A protective shroud is provided to safeguard against unwanted orders, but its inclusion isn't strictly necessary. Print Settings Rafts: Rafts aren't crucial here. Supports: Any form of support works fine. Infill: For the plug and support piece, use standard infill settings between 10% and 50%. Notes: Use standard infill (10%) for both the Plug and the support piece. But make sure to bump it up to a whopping 50% for the shroud - after all, you'll want some extra strength there. Post-Printing Removing the Optional support piece with a screwdriver is relatively painless.
